The new universal light cultivator Väderstad Ferox 500-900 is able to create a seedbed in a wide range of farming conditions. Ferox has a working depth of 10-12cm, and is available with a working width of 5, 6, 7 or 9 metres.
The new Väderstad CrossCutter Disc will open up extended possibilities for effective tillage and improved field results. CrossCutter Disc can be fitted to the versatile disc cultivator Väderstad Carrier, with working widths from 3.0 up to 12.25 metres.
The new small seeds kit for the world-record high-speed planter Väderstad Tempo enhances precision when planting small seeded crops such as oilseed rape and sugar beet.
The new Väderstad fertiliser kit allows for fertiliser application together with soil cultivation. The fertiliser kit can be equipped on the combination cultivator Väderstad TopDown as well as on the heavy tine cultivator Väderstad Opus.
This autumn Väderstad will reinforce its roller segment by equipping the 12.3 metre wide heavy-duty roller Rexius 1230 with a CrossBoard Heavy.
To grow even closer to the customers and to further strengthen our presence in Russia and Ukraine, Väderstad enters into a regional dealer partnership with John Deere. The partnership means same dealer network for Väderstad and John Deere products in the two countries.
Väderstad has appointed Evgeny Zhilkin as new Managing Director for Väderstad´s subsidiary in Russia. The appointment occurs the same year as the subsidiary Väderstad Russia are celebrating 10 years of operation.
On April 11-12th, Väderstad Tempo set a new world record by planting 502.05 hectares within 24 hours at a speed of 20-22km/h. Two months later, a strong crop has emerged within the fields in Hungary and the planting precision statistics show impressive results.
In the coming years, Väderstad will invest in a facility for production of laser cut metal parts. The facitily, which will produce metal parts for the full product range, represents an investment of 15.4 million euro. In addition to expanding the production capacity and further ensuring a very high machine quality, this investment is a statement of Väderstad’s positive look on the future.
